unibetThe online betting firm, Unibet has announced that it has finally sealed an acquisition deal of purchasing iGame Holding for €79 million

According to the acquisition deal, Unibet will settle the €79 million as €59 million in cash upfront and €20 million will be settled once the stipulated goals have been achieved during the upcoming years. In this deal, Unibet will acquire 100% ownership of the company once after the acquisition has been approved by gaming regulators.

The betting operator, iGame Holding focuses mainly in Nordic betting markets and during its first half year, it has gross win revenues of €13.7 million. It has more than 75,000 active players and its revenue is set to include in the second quarter since it will be providing a lucrative market for Unibet to move forward.

Henrik Tjärnström, the CEO of Unibet commented on the acquisition deal and said,

iGame brand is well known in its local market and it has great potential for success especially when combined with our bigger scale products, cross-channel, mobile expertize. Its vast amount of revenue is contributed by its casino products and our objective is to add these brands as a complement to our existing brands that include Maria and Unibet
