LatviaLatvia has published its online betting blacklist and this also includes some of the big names. Its online betting blacklist known as the “verboten” list was published earlier last week with most unlicensed operators finding their ISP blocked in the Baltic state.

Latvia’s online betting blacklist include some of the top online gambling giants like Bet365.com, 888.com, Bwin.com, Betfair.com, Unibet.com, Unibet.net, Pokerstars.eu, Fulltilt, Poker.eu, Williamhill.com, Pokerstars.com, Betway.com along with others like Triobet.com, 888games.com, Spinpalace.com, Betsson.com, Casino.com, 888play.com, Casinoeuro.com and Expekt.com.

The blacklisted operators have urged all its existing players from Latvia not to panic and state that all players will be able to cash out their existing balances and they should contact the operator via email.

Latvia has collaborated with Baltic states Lithuania and Estonia for providing and exchanging information regarding unlicensed operators within the region.

According to sources, it was reported that the Latvia Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspectorate has introduced a blacklist of unlicensed operators within its borders. They further added that the unlicensed sites will also be blocked by ISPs in the near future. With the assistance from its fellow countries Estonia and Lithuania, they anticipate to trackdown all unlicensed operators and the blacklist will also be added with more operators. A few major online betting operators have not yet been included in the blacklist.
